Overdraft Privilege is a courtesy that we provide to our members with a share draft (checking) account. We may* cover insufficient fund checks up to a $300 limit. Overdraft Privilege is a service that is automatically provided to all member share draft accounts in good standing after 60 days, (members have the right to opt out).
With overdraft privilege your check, ATM withdrawal, Debit Card purchases or other electronic debit items may be covered by the Credit Union up to the limit of $300 - including fees. You will be charged the standard NSF fee of $25 per item. You will receive notification when an overdraft occurs on your account and you will be expected to deposit adequate funds to bring your account to a positive balance within 30 days.
Pee Dee Federal Credit Union does not encourage members to use this service as a regular source of funds for meeting their normal living expenses. If you find yourself doing so, we offer Overdraft Privilege Counseling Services. See any Member Services Representative for more information.
*Available on qualified share draft (checking) accounts only. Certain Restrictions Apply.
